Ochuko Boma Evwaraye, AIA, NOMA

Architect, Illustrator, Educator

I am a passionate architect and designer who thrives on creativity, innovation, and the pursuit of knowledge. Born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, my diverse cultural background has deeply influenced my approach to architecture and design.

From an early age, my creativity found expression through various artistic pursuits. My love for drawing and problem-solving naturally led me to architecture, where I could merge my artistic vision with technical precision.

Beyond design, I have a strong desire to share knowledge and empower others. I believe that collaboration and mentorship are among the most rewarding aspects of this profession. I actively mentor aspiring architects and designers, lead workshops, and teach at The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture.

Outside of architecture, I have a deep passion for soccer. During my college years, I played Division I soccer for Bowling Green State University, where I developed discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills. Balancing the demands of both the studio and the field taught me resilience and the value of collaboration across diverse teams.
